A shared session was held as part of the UEFA HatTrick VI Programme, an educational pathway promoted by UEFA in collaboration with the FIGC and NADO Italia to inform, raise awareness and prevent the use of prohibited substances or unfair practices that artificially enhance sporting performance, while promoting a culture of clean sport.
Yesterday and today, respectively at the Allianz Training Center in Vinovo and the Cercola Sports Centre, the ninth and tenth meetings of the season took place with the U20 squads of Juventus and Napoli, both currently competing in the UEFA Youth League. Speakers included Francesca Sordini and Paolo Nucci for the FIGC Anti-Doping Commission, alongside Federico Verdi and Chiara Vari representing NADO Italia.

During the sessions, the young players were introduced to several key aspects of anti-doping regulations, including the testing system, the list of prohibited substances, therapeutic use exemptions and the ‘Registered Testing Pool’, which includes athletes selected by the NADO Italia Anti-Doping Control Committee based on specific inclusion criteria established in accordance with principles set by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
As is customary at the end of each session, the players completed a questionnaire designed to assess their understanding of the topics covered and to encourage reflection on the values of sporting ethics and individual responsibility.
