Victor Osimhen says both Dominik Szoboszlai and Ibrahima Konate reached out to him after Liverpool's 4-0 Champions League win over Galatasaray at Anfield earlier this week. Osimhen, who clattered into Konate, fractured his forearm and was later seen altercating with Liverpool players.
While the Nigerian striker was receiving treatment on the pitch, Liverpool midfielder Szoboszlai felt he was deliberately wasting time and urged him to get up - a gesture Osimhen did not appreciate.
As soon as the stretcher was brought onto the field, he got to his feet and confronted the Liverpool players who had accused him of time‑wasting.
Osimhen was later taken off at half-time with former Manchester City star Leroy Sane coming on to replace him. After being told he will need surgery on his arm, reports have claimed he has opted to travel to Nigeria before returning to Turkey to undergo surgery.

Osimhen said: "I'm not scared of anything. I've faced so much in life. Szoboszlai and I had an on-field conversation.
"After the game, he came up to me and said the team is not serious like that.
"Also, the guy who I was involved in the collision with, he reached out and messaged on Instagram.

"Konate also messaged me on Instagram and told me he didn't mean to harm me. It's football, these things happen."
Galatasaray then suffered another late injury blow when substitute Noa Lang appeared to have part of his thumb severed after it became trapped between two advertising hoardings as he tried to keep the ball in play.

"Lang is going to hospital," said Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk. "He has an issue with his finger, we will know what he has at the hospital and if he needs an operation.
"Osimhen said his arm was hurting and he wanted to get out of the game at half-time and he’s going to the hospital as well."
