Liverpool failed to win the Premier League for the third straight game on Saturday as they were beaten 2-1 by Brighton & Hove Albion, seeing their grip on the Champions League places loosen. The defeat leaves the Reds fifth in the league, six points off Manchester United in third.
Danny Welbeck scored both goals for the hosts, inbetween Milos Kerkez's second goal for the club. Liverpool had to play over 90 minutes without Hugo Ekitike after the striker was forced off early on.
With Chelsea and Aston Villa still to play this weekend, the Reds could drop to sixth in the Premier League. The Blues take on Everton on Saturday evening while Villa face West Ham on Sunday.
Here, the Liverpool Echo takes a look at the Reds' upcoming fixture list compared to their top four rivals after Saturday's game against Brighton...
Liverpool's next five fixtures
Manchester City (A) - April 4 - FA Cup quarter-final
PSG (A) - April 8 - Champions League quarter-final
PSG (H) - April 14 - Champions League quarter-final

The international break means Liverpool will have to wait until the middle of next month to respond to the Brighton defeat. Before that, they face two incredibly tough tests against Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in the FA Cup and Champions League - both away from home.
