Leeds United recognised one of their greats at half-time of Saturday's meeting with Brentford.
Leeds United legend Mick Jones praised the club's supporters after a special first-of-its-kind presentation at Elland Road.
The Revie Boy, who scored more than 100 goals for the club during their most successful era, received a lifetime achievement award and heritage cap on the pitch at half-time of the game against Brentford.
"Brilliant, I wish I was playing," said Jones after receiving an ovation from the crowd. "There's something about Elland Road.
“We had a great team, great lads, the supporters here are the best in the country, there's no doubt about that. Just as good in our day as they are today.
“Absolutely brilliant. We had a great, great manager. It's a pleasure to be here tonight. I hope we can get a goal to get us three points in the second half."
The heritage cap is an initiative from the club's new former players association, Marching on Forever and Jones was the first to receive it.
"It'll go down in my family and it'll be treasured," he said. "I know they'll look after it."
