Crystal Palace have held talks over hiring Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola this summer, according to Daily Mail journalist Simon Jones.
The Selhurst Park side are on the lookout for Oliver Glasner’s successor and reportedly view Iraola as one of the potential candidates to take over.
Iraola has no shortage of suitors amid his impressive stint at Bournemouth, with Athletic Bilbao identifying the 43-year-old as a leading target.
The Spanish tactician’s contract with Bournemouth expires at the end of the season, as does Glasner’s agreement at Selhurst Park.

According to Jones, both Palace and Tottenham Hotspur have discussed Iraola as a potential new manager ahead of the summer amid uncertainty over his future.
The Spaniard has been leaning towards signing a new contract with Bournemouth for some time, but interest from Bilbao could yet change his mind.
Iraola made over 400 appearances for Athletic Bilbao and spent 12 professional seasons with the club from 2003 to 2015.
Athletic are on the lookout for a new manager, as current boss Ernesto Valverde will step down at the end of this season.
Iraola, praised as 'one of the best managers in world football', took charge of Bournemouth in the summer of 2023 and led them to Premier League finishes of 12th and 9th in his first two seasons.
The Cherries are currently 12th in the league with seven games left, seven points off the top five.
Glasner Ready to Leave Selhurst Park
Oliver Glasner
Crystal Palace have been on the lookout for a new manager for several months, with Glasner’s end-of-season departure confirmed in January.
The Austrian is set to leave Selhurst Park when his contract expires in June, after a two-and-a-half-year spell in which the club lifted the FA Cup and Community Shield.
Glasner was offered a new contract last summer but informed chairman Steve Parish in October that he would not pen fresh terms.
Palace have reached the Conference League quarter-finals under Glasner this term, where they face Serie A side Fiorentina.
Andoni Iraola Tactics Explained

Amid Palace’s interest in Iraola, we asked ChatGPT to explain the Spanish manager’s tactical approach:
Iraola sets his teams up to press aggressively high up the pitch, aiming to win the ball back quickly and disrupt opponents before they can build attacks.
His sides play with a direct, vertical style in possession, moving the ball forward early rather than relying on slow build-up, which helps create quick attacking opportunities.
He places huge emphasis on transitions, with teams reacting instantly after winning or losing the ball, turning defence into attack at speed while keeping constant intensity throughout games.
