Brentford have extended their winless run at Elland Road to eight games, having last beaten Leeds away from home in February 2015.
Leeds extend their winless run in the Premier League to six games but are now four points clear of West Ham in 18th before their game tomorrow.
Brentford have gained a point on both Liverpool and Chelsea however, and now sit just three points away from fifth.
Before the game, players and fans gave tribute to Chris and Kev, two Leeds fans who sadly lost their lives following their team in Istanbul 26 years ago.
First Half
The first half started balanced, as **Brentford**dominated the majority of possession but Jayden Bogle and **Leeds**came the closest in the first 15 minutes.
Calvert-Lewin would have an opening when the England international and Caoimhin Kelleher both jumped for the same ball from a Bogle cross, but the keeper's punch was cleared by a back-pedalling Michael Kayode.
Leeds continued their pressure when Lukas Nmecha picked the ball up on the edge of the area and fired a shot into the palms of Kelleher.
The first half ended with neither team having a clear cut chance, but with Leeds definitely looking the most likely to break the deadlock.
Second Half Leeds Dominance
The second half started off with more of the same, with Leeds knocking on the door for an opening. Anton Stach and Ethan Ampadu both went close from the edge of the area as the Welshman stung the palms of Kelleher in the Brentford goal.
A piece of physical brilliance from Kayode was Brentford's only sniff at goal before the hour mark, as the Italian kept a long pass in play before beating James Justin and delivering a dangerous cross into the box.
Leeds kept going though, with Ao Tanaka lining a shot up from outside the area which was deflected wide by Igor Thiago. A multitude of crosses followed, all of which sent into dangerous areas, but came to nothing.
Noah Okafor produced the only chance of the final ten minutes of normal time as his shot was also saved comfortably by Kelleher. Brentford remained under the cosh however, as the Bees failed to have a shot past the 50th minute.
That was until the 96th minute, when Dango Ouattara won a free kick on the edge of the area, which was then launched into the Leeds wall by Keane Lewis-Potter, which about summed up the game.
Jayden Bogle looked to be Leeds' biggest threat going forward, but Ethan Ampadu controlled the midfield and helped the Whites create as much as they did.
