Beto was the talk of the town last night, as he scored twice in the 3-0 win over Chelsea.
Everton recorded a second consecutive win at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time, and were full value for the three points.
David Moyes’ side were bang at it from minute one, with Chelsea looking stunned at times by the level of intensity.

The Blues were all over the place, but Everton did not allow them any time to settle.
It was a fantastic night for Beto, who has been criticised a lot this season.
He fully deserved to have three goal contributions to show for his efforts, and he also came in for some nice praise from Moyes after the game.
Beto also spoke afterwards – and his comments may well have been a hit ahead of the summer.

Amid his more difficult times, there has been speculation about Beto’s future at Everton.
He has been linked with a move away for the past few windows now, but remains on the books.
He’ll still have a year to run on his contract this summer, which puts Everton in an interesting position.
The club may need to think about selling, or offering a new contract. Because letting him enter the final year isn’t really ideal.
After last night’s game, Beto seemed to hint that he would be happy sticking around, saying (via BBC Sport): “I don’t think I’m a hero. I feel like I’m home. Playing for Everton is something unbelievable. You just want to give your all and help the team with goals, assists, good performances, anything. I’m really happy.
Should Everton actually be getting Beto tied down to a new contract? 🤔
He'll only have a year left this summer…

“Today was a must win game for us. Since we came out of the hotel the fans were shouting. They knew. They were feeling like we need to win this game, so we did a great performance, three goals, clean sheet. We are happy.”
For Beto to say that he feels like he’s home, and to say that playing for Everton is ‘something unbelievable’, strongly suggests he would be prepared to stick around this summer.
No doubt the transfer rumours will persist about him.
But he is clearly very content at the club, and one wonders if the club will start thinking about offering a contract extension.
