David Moyes was full of praise for Beto after the game, as he scored a brace and laid on the assist for Iliman Ndiaye’s goal.

Moyes also spoke about the sensational atmosphere at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in his press conference.
The Everton manager had an interesting theory about why it was even louder than normal.
David Moyes says kick-off time helped Hill Dickinson Stadium atmosphere
Speaking to the media post-match, Moyes explained that the early kick-off time may have actually helped to boost the atmosphere.
“The crowd made it feel like a big game,” the Toffees boss stated.
“It was a brilliant atmosphere inside the stadium. It was more like Goodison than we’ve probably had in any other game.

“Don’t know if the 5:30pm kick-off helped that instead of an 8pm kick-off on a Monday night…but obviously it was a really really good night and a big thank you to the supporters for the part they played in helping us today.”

Moyes added: The support was great… coming in was fantastic. I think a lot of people, nice day, got here earlier, around the place a bit earlier, had a couple of drinks.
“But generally, it was a brilliant, brilliant atmosphere tonight and the players deserved it, they deserved what they got from the supporters because they were right at it from minute one.”
Everton now have a break from Premier League action, with the international break taking place over the next couple of weeks.
Moyes’ side return on the 11th of April against their European rivals Brentford; that’s before the first-ever Merseyside Derby at the new stadium.
Then, it’ll be a special occasion for Moyes, as he returns to his former club West Ham United at the end of April.
