Both the head coach and his skipper Lewis Dunk activated two-game bans with yellow cards in the win over Liverpool.
Dunk was shown yellow amid slightly confusing scenes after he and Bart Verbruggen were deemed by referee Darren England to have taken too long over a goal-kick.
Hurzeler was cautioned for waving an imaginary yellow card just before Alexis Mac Allister was shown the real thing by England for a foul close to the technical areas.
Although there is normally no appeals system for yellow cards, Hurzeler told BBC Radio Sussex the club would ask the FA to look at the Dunk yellow.
He had initially looked set to take a short goal kick before instead stepping aside and allowing Bart Verbruggen to go long.
Dunk has been banned under the totting-up procedure already this season, with his fifth yellow coming for a foul on Mac Allister in the away game with Liverpool.
The former Albion midfielder played an unwitting part in Hurzeler’s sixth yellow, which incurs a two-match suspension.
Hurzeler was unwilling to say too much about the booking, referring to the “big bang” his comments about Arsenal caused recently.
But he said: “Other managers in the league, they do it as well.
“There is a clear rule, but then you have to do it for everyone.”
Dunk's obvious stand-in will be Olivier Boscagli, who has done well when called upon so far this season, but Albion will be keen for no setbacks to befall Jan Paul van Hecke.
Igor Julio could return to the matchday squad to add defensive cover.
