Tottenham Hotspur fans have demanded Igor Tudor is sacked after his "spineless" side were embarrassed at home against Nottingham Forest.

Spurs have found themselves in an unlikely relegation battle - and they suffered a massive blow on Sunday afternoon as they were leapfrogged by rivals Forest, who hammered them 3-0. Tudor's side have now slipped to 17th, one point above the drop zone.

It could have been worse for Spurs, had West Ham not been beaten by Aston Villa. And furious Tottenham fans have taken to social media to demand Tudor is sacked as Spurs slip closer and closer to an unthinkable relegation.

"Come on Sack Igor Tudor right now! It’s embarrassing and there is no back bone! Spineless performance It’s 3-0 to Nottingham Forest," one fan fumed.

"Igor Tudor is the worse appointment in Spurs history, I told you he’s a fraud, Lange, Vinai, Tudor should all be sacked immediately," a second posted. As a third said: "Get Tudor out. Losing 3-0 in a game this big is an utter disgrace, I’m done..."

And another added: "The fans did their part all week, and pre-match, and then Tudor and the team put out that performance. Depressingly horrendous..."

Spurs had looked to have been turning somewhat of a corner, after a hard fought draw with Liverpool last weekend, but it has only gone from bad worse for Tudor's side.

Speaking on BBC 5 Live, Paul Robinson said: "I don’t see a structure. A game plan, or a way of playing. I don’t see a tactical idea.

"I see a team that’s set up in the first instance, that changes two or three times during the game. They look devoid of ideas, and a manager who is looking for something that he is yet to find, and no time to find it."

Tottenham will now face Sunderland after the international break.
