Leicester City 1-2 Aston Villa
Aston Villa fought back for a 2-1 win over basement side Leicester City, climbing to eighth and drawing level on points with both Everton and London City, in sixth and seventh places respectively.
Alisha Lehmann swept home a cutback from Hannah Cain to give the Foxes a 38th-minute lead.
Villa were back on level terms just a couple of minutes into the second half, as Anna Patten glanced home a corner from Lynn Wilms.
Inside the final 10 minutes, the visitors took a 2-1 lead on the break, with Ebony Salmon’s long ball sending Kirsty Hanson clear to drill the ball through the legs of goalkeeper Janina Leitzig.

Eighth-placed Brighton were held to a goalless draw at home by Liverpool in 10th.
Brighton were the more threatening side during the first half but did gift a chance to Liverpool’s Mia Enderby, who blasted over the bar.
Manuela Vanegas’s 90th-minute header for the Seagulls was denied by both the bar and goalkeeper Jennifer Falk.
Brighton custodian Chiamaka Nnadozie got enough on an Aurélie Csillag shot, and a Martha Thomas header was cleared off the line by Maelys Mpome.
