According to North East Football Journalist, Craig Hope, Sunderland may struggle to hold onto their young prospect. He said via X: “Sunderland face fight to keep hold of forward Finn Geragusian. Clubs from Premier League & Europe showing interest, inc. Nottm Forest & Rangers.
“The 18-yr-old out of contract in summer & yet to agree new deal. Still on scholarship contract, so under FIFA rules can leave for as little as €200k to non-English clubs. Geragusian was called up to most recent senior Armenia squad.”

I can say one or two words (in Armenian), but I am currently learning some more. A lot of them speak good English, which is really helpful for me.”
Rangers shop in familiar market
It isn’t the first time this season that Rangers have looked to the Stadium of Light for reinforcements as both Dan Neil and Romaine Mundle were on Danny Rohl’s radar in January. However, neither transfer came to fruition for the Rangers boss.
Dan Neil snubbed the Light Blues for Ipswich Town on loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy just a season after captaining The Black Cats to Championship Play-offs glory. After ending his 16-year tenure at the club, the midfielder opted for the Tractor Boys as he wanted to have another bite at the cherry regarding promotion from the second tier.
Winger Romaine Mundle eventually stayed on Wearside despite interest from Rangers, as well as European outifts PSV Eindhoven and OGN Nice. The 22-year old fought for his place back in the starting XI after the window but has since been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
