Friday morning saw Thomas Tuchel name his latest England squad, this one including five Newcastle United players.
This latest England squad is for the March 2026 internationals, two friendlies.
England have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup finals as top of the group.
It is England v Uruguay on Friday 27 March, with a 7.45pm kick-off, then it is England v Japan kicking off at 7.45pm on Tuesday 31 March.
The five Newcastle United players named on Friday were Dan Burn, Anthony Gordon, Tino Livramento, Aaron Ramsdale and Lewis Hall.
However, now there is news of a sixth United player set to be added to this England squad.
BBC Sport report that Harvey Barnes is going to be called up by Thomas Tuchel, to replace the injured Eberechi Eze.
Eze wasn’t included in Arsenal’s squad for Sunday’s very one-sided 2-0 Carabao Cup final defeat by Manchester City because of a lower leg injury.
Harvey Barnes has one cap so far, back in October 2020 in a friendly against Wales.
