First win for the gang of four

by Staff Writer

Sunday, 22nd March 2026

It was a good weekend for Nottingham Forest as they became the first of the four teams involved to win a game in the 'Last Quarter' mini-league.

Forest's thrashing of Tottenham in Spurs' own back yard, combined with draws for West Ham and Leeds ensured the Tricky Trees are the first team to record a victory in the final quarter of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, which we are now two matchweeks into.

And that win lifted them above Spurs in the LQ league and the current Premier League table - with Spurs now 17th, just one point above West Ham who were well beaten at Villa Park earlier today.

Each team's remaining fixtures - and the current mini-league standings - are as follows:

Results

Matchweek 30: West Ham Utd 1-1 Man City; Crystal Palace 0-0 Leeds Utd; N Forest 0-0 Fulham; Liverpool 1-1 Spurs

Matchweek 31: Leeds Utd 0-0 Brentford; Aston Villa 2-0 West Ham Utd; Spurs 0-3 N Forest

Fixtures

Matchweek 32: West Ham Utd v Wolves; N Forest v Aston Villa; Sunderland v Spurs; Man Utd v Leeds Utd

Matchweek 33: Leeds Utd v Wolves; N Forest v Burnley; Spurs v Brighton; Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd

Matchweek 34: Sunderland v N Forest; Bournemouth v Leeds Utd; West Ham Utd v Everton; Wolves v Spurs

Matchweek 35: Aston Villa v Spurs; Brentford v West Ham Utd; Chelsea v N Forest; Leeds Utd v Burnley

Matchweek 36: N Forest v Newcastle Utd; Spurs v Leeds Utd; West Ham Utd v Arsenal

Matchweek 37: Chelsea v Spurs; Leeds Utd v Brighton; Man Utd v N Forest; Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd

Matchweek 38: N Forest v Bournemouth; Spurs v Everton; West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd

And we'll update this mini-league after each matchweek to track the progress of all four clubs, as they battle to avoid joining the two bottom clubs in the Championship next season - unless a sudden resurgence from either Wolves or Burnley necessitates a revised table!
