'He's doing everything to be considered' - Scott in 'best form' says Iraola

Scott was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the upcoming international break, having been included in the final camp of 2025.

“He has been playing like this consistently,” Iraola told the Daily Echo.

“It's not just today, he has been very good. I think he has been giving these performances consistently lately for us.

“I've said it before the game, he's in the best form I've seen him ever, in my three seasons here.

“But I also understand Tuchel in the sense that if you consider, you know, Garner, Adam Wharton, Elliot Anderson, they are incredible players.

“You have such a good national team, it's very expensive to be in the squad, but he will continue. I hope he continues playing like this and maybe he has a chance at the end of the season because he's doing everything from his side to be considered.”
