Newcastle United's derby-day defeat to Sunderland was a new low in roller-coaster season, just when Eddie Howe and Co thought they had some momentum behind them,
After Premier League wins over Manchester United and Chelsea, the glimmer of European football next season had reappeared, but a dismal hour against the Black Cats has put those firmly on the back burner.
Anthony Gordon's opener looked to have set United on the right path, but they faded badly in the second half to come away from the game with nothing - and fans were quick to point the finger in our player ratings.
We asked you to rate the players out of the 10 following Sunday's defeat, and while no one scored particularly highly, some players emerged with credit.

The ever-dependable Lewis Hall led the scores, just ahead of goalscoerer Anthony Gordon, while Nick Woltemade, Joelinton and Sven Botman were the only other players to score above five.
However, while some low marks can be excused due to a reduced time on the pitch, it will be concerning for Howe to see his three widemen on the day - starters Harvey Barnes and Anthony Elanga, and sub Jacob Murphy - all score so low.
Barnes was the lowest ranked of those who started the game, while Murphy and Elanga both scored disappointingly low scores, as United struggled to create chances.
It was Hall who consistently put in the best crosses, with Sven Botman hitting the post with a header from one.
