Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have both raved over David Moyes and the job he’s doing, after Everton’s latest win over Chelsea.
The Toffees ran out 3-0 winners at the Hill Dickinson Stadium to further boost their European football hopes for next season.
Surely everyone is Moyes in now? 🤔
David Moyes.
Beto scored two, and Iliman Ndiaye wrapped up the points with a terrific strike.
It was a sensational performance from Everton, with Chelsea inferior all over the pitch.
The Hill Dickinson crowd were perhaps on their best form yet, with both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and David Moyes talking up the role the fans played.
Moyes has had some criticism at times this season, but he has come in for very high praise from Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer on the latest Rest Is Football podcast.

“I just look at Moyes and the job he’s doing. I’ve got so much respect for him. I just think he’s been absolutely outstanding. He’s a great bloke, and been a great servant to our game, and he’s getting his rewards again at Everton.”
Lineker added: “It would be amazing if he got them into the Champions League wouldn’t it? Particularly when you consider when he took over, obviously they were in real trouble. Just fractionally above the relegation zone last season.
“It just shows you he knows what he’s doing.”
Shearer said: “He’s rinsing every bit of ability out of the players. Garner in midfield, what a performance he put in. Sensational in the midfield, he looked the best player on the pitch. He’s getting every bit of performance out of those Everton players.”
Lineker: “It’s great to see as a former Evertonian. A really good chance of Europe, and an outside stab at Champions League football.”
