Leeds United still find themselves in trouble near the bottom of the table. This past weekend, the Whites could not get the result to ease pressure on themselves.
Daniel Farke’s men had a huge opportunity to get three points hosting Brentford at home over the weekend. Their last three games saw them pick up just one point, with them losing two consecutive matches. And with Nottingham Forest and West Ham recently picking up points, things are now up in the air.

Leeds United fans will be furious that their side only managed a point on Saturday. The team could not find a way past Keith Andrews’ who just set up not to lose on the day. Farke’s attack struggled and at times, they looked like they did not have a path to goal. A draw now means that they will be desperate for points when the league resumes after the international break.
Simon Jordan gives Leeds United relegation verdict
Simon Jordan has been discussing the relegation battle, and which teams could find themselves going down this season. He admits that Leeds could be dragged into the bottom three because they are not getting good enough results.
“I still think for whatever reason, that it will still be the bottom three that’s in the bottom three or possibly Leeds will get dragged into it because I think Leeds are drawing their way to safety and yet still this remarkable set of games that Leeds are playing where they’re not getting beat but they’re still only two or three points away from the relegation zone and somewhere along the line, something’s going to catch up with them I fear, I hope not,”

Leeds have just not been good enough recently
It has been a very poor run by Daniel Farke’s men. Since the Manchester City game, this Leeds side have just not been able to convert chances during decisive moments. They could have gotten something out of the losses to City and Sunderland, but the players could not find the back of the net. The attacking quality will play a huge part in what happens for the rest of the season, so the players have to start taking their chances. Daniel Farke will hope his side’s fortunes will change in the coming weeks.
