Everton have a strong pool of centre-back options, but Marcos Senesi could strengthen it further.
Everton are thought to be in the mix to sign Senesi, who stands to become a free agent this summer.
His contract is expiring, and there has been no sign yet of the player extending his deal.
Which of these players do you want to see Everton SIGN in 2026?

Lots of other clubs are circling, and that is little surprise given how consistent Senesi has been for Bournemouth over the years.
And the Argentine is having yet another great season for the Cherries, and he’s cropped up near the top of three data metrics in the Premier League.
Everton target Marcos Senesi is really shining this season
Bournemouth have had an interesting season.
Their form really dipped in November and December, with the Cherries not winning a single game in the Premier League.
But they’ve done well so far in 2026, losing just one game to Arsenal right at the start of the year.

they’ve had four clean sheets this calendar year so far, and Senesi has played his part in that defensive solidity.
But the South American has just had a really solid season as a whole – and there are some data metrics that back this up.
Senesi is second of all Premier League players for clearances made, with 220 – only Virgil van Dijk has made more (233).
Senesi also places second for blocks made, making 37. Only Everton’s James Tarkowski has made more (41).
And Senesi has also made 47 interceptions, putting him third of all players. Only James Garner (50) and Moises Caicedo (52) have made more.
For Senesi to be on the podium in these three categories is highly impressive.
The data just shows he is someone who frequently deals with danger and takes responsibility at the back.
Now, as we know, Everton have four very good centre-backs at the moment.
However, James Tarkowski and Michael Keane are not getting any younger and it may well be that Everton need to think about signing a slightly younger option.

Senesi has just come into his prime now at 28. Arguably, he is the perfect player for Everton in terms of his age and the stage of his career he’s at.
He’s older than Jake O’Brien and Jarrad Branthwaite and can pass on pearls of wisdom, but younger than Tarkowski and Keane, who are both 33 and don’t have much longer left at the highest level.
Juventus are pushing hard for Senesi, and Barcelona have also been linked.
But if there’s any opening at all for Everton then the club simply have to get involved, because it is rather a no-brainer to sign a player of this quality and consistency for free.
