Nottingham Forest thrashed Tottenham Hotspur in North London as they breathed life into their survival bid.
Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White and Taiwo Awoniyi scored as the Reds won 3-0 in the game, which the hosts had billed as a cup final of epic proportions.

Vitor Pereira claimed his first Premier League victory as Forest boss, and it’s proved a great week for the Reds as they built on their fantastic win over FC Midtjylland in midweek.
There were a number of top performers for the Reds against Tottenham and Joe Hart heaped praise on one player after the superb victory.

Joe Hart hails Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson
Anderson was fantastic once again in the game against Tottenham, and over the last two seasons at Forest, he’s become one of the top midfielders in the Premier League.
The battling performer always gives his all on the pitch, and after his efforts against Tottenham, Hart sang his praises on Match of the Day.
He said: “Elliot Anderson today, and he has been all year, I’ve loved him since I saw him in the under-21 tournament in the summer, I just watched him playing, and he gives so much to the team, he’s all-action.

“He’s such a good athlete; he’s just everywhere for Nottingham Forest, and a lot of the good Forest stuff comes through him. He’s not afraid to make mistakes, he’s tenacious, and he never gives up.”
Anderson is nailed on for the England squad for the World Cup, and he’s one of 10 stars rested by Thomas Tuchel for the friendly against Uruguay on Friday.
That rest should benefit Forest, and when domestic football returns in April, Anderson should be raring to go once again as the Reds bid to secure Premier League survival.
