END TO END
A 0-0 draw doesn't sound fun, but this clash between the young Blues and Clarets was thrilling, with both sides making a strong case to take the lead.
However, poor finishing and some top class goalkeeping led this game to a stalemate, with plenty of chances in both halves to make this writer keep guessing who would win the game.

PENALTY SAVE
A big reason the game remained goalless was Town goalkeeper George Barrett, who made some some big saves throughout and went from zero to hero in the first half.
Barrett was caught in possession playing out from the back and brought down Vernon Masara in the box, but the young 'keeper saved the spot kick from Masara before getting up to also save Ellis Clarkâs rebound.
DENIED
The first half saw the woodwork deny both teams, with Isaac Boakye-King's half-volley rattling the post before the visitors hit the cross bar through Clark's strike from distance.
Town had to clear off the line when Clark dinked the ball over Barrett, but Harvey Duggins hooked it away before the young Blues went up the either end trying to score. Luca Fletcher was denied.

FAIR RESULT
It was the same intensity in the second half, with plenty of chances for both sides, but they weren't able to find the winner and had to settle for a point.
This was the young Blues' last home match of the regular season, but they are set for the Premier League 2 play-offs. They have dropped to seventh in the table and have two games left to play.
MISSING PLAYERS
Chris Casement and John McGreal's side were without a number regulars for this game due to players being called up for international duty, including captain Leon Elliott, who has been called up for Barbados.
Fellow defenders Walker Shabazz-Edwards and Corbin Mthunzi are with the senior Guyana and Zimbabwe squads for the first time respectively. Goalkeeper Woody Williamson is with the Scotland U21s.

STEPPING UP
A few Town U18 players were in the starting XI and impressed in this outing, especially defenders Duggins and Boakye-King, who are first-year scholars and did well throughout the 90 minutes.
Midfielder Charlie Compton also played the full game and looked very tidy in the middle of the park, which was good to see, having recently come back from a long injury lay-off.
Attacker Sid Eldred made an impressive start, playing in the no.10 role. He came close to scoring on a number occasions before being replaced by U18s captain Charlie Wood, who got stuck in and made an impact.
