Report: The Premier League club set to open talks with former Everton boss Sean Dyche

Former Everton manager Sean Dyche has been linked with multiple clubs in recent weeks.

Sean Dyche was sacked by Nottingham Forest last month, but he’s certainly not been short of interest.

It was reported that West Bromwich Albion made Dyche their ‘top target‘, but nothing materialised on that front.

Does Sean Dyche get enough credit for his spell at Everton? 🤔

Then, it came out that Tottenham Hotspur were in talks with Dyche, and he could still be an option for the North Londoners.

Now, there is a fresh report claiming that another Premier League club is keen to speak with the former Everton manager in the coming days.

Crystal Palace to hold talks with Sean Dyche

According to Alan Nixon, Crystal Palace are planning to hold talks with Dyche over the coming days.

With Oliver Glasner due to leave at the end of the season, Palace are exploring potential replacements in the meantime.

It’s understood that Steve Parish has been a long-term admirer of Dyche, and his ability to keep clubs in the Premier League is attractive to the Palace board.

The Eagles have lost key players in recent windows, so clearly there is a feeling that they could be plunged into a relegation battle next season.

Given Dyche’s reputation among Everton and Forest supporters, he may not be a popular appointment among the Selhurst Park faithful.

That could influence the decision-making of Parish and his chiefs, who are also looking at Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola.

Although Iraola will probably have his eye on a bigger job, if indeed he does leave the Cherries this summer.
