Jacob Devaney has experienced a lot since joining St Mirren on loan in January.
When Jacob Devaney left Manchester United on loan earlier this year, the aim was to gain valuable first-team experience.
Devaney had previously starred for United’s U21s, but he has thus far made eight appearances for the Scottish Premiership side, scoring one goal.
Although his performances have vindicated St Mirren’s decision to sign Devaney temporarily, the youngster has already faced multiple challenges, such as a change in manager as well as an upcoming relegation battle.

Jacob Devaney enjoying eventful St Mirren loan
Although Devaney has given a good account of himself at St Mirren, the team’s league form has been a concern as they find themselves facing a battle to stay in the Scottish top flight.
The manager who signed Devaney, Stephen Robinson, has also left to take charge of Aberdeen.
In a more positive light, Devaney has a Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic to look forward to, and he will be looking to build on his impressive display against Rangers.

“I’m not going to lie, it’s been a bit of a challenge,” Devaney said, as quoted by BBC Sport.
“It’s been a good few weeks, but you know, with a lot of different circumstances I’ve had to deal with. I’ve loved it. It’s been a great experience.”
When asked about dealing with a change in manager, Devaney added: “It’s part of the learning process when you go on loan.
“Just dealing with unexpected incidents like the manager leaving last week. To be fair, I think the club have made it quite an easy change. Craig McLeish and the staff have come in and dealt with it really well.
“You can’t really look back too much. All we’re doing is looking forward, you know, trying to stay in the league. And obviously trying to win that semi-final as well, and the final too.
“I came here wanting to play games and knowing that I’ve got the ability to play games.
“That’s the reason why I came here, to play men’s football, to get away from academy football. I’m here because I want to be a professional footballer and I want to play at the highest level. I thought this league was the right place to start off.”
