Newcastle striker William Osula was spotted in a Rangers jersey as an image was uploaded on Instagram in the last 24 hours.
Osula made headlines recently in the Premier League when he scored a winner against Manchester United in a thrilling 2-1 win for his side.
The Magpies were down to ten men and managed to turn things around against a high-flying United side.

Tochi Chukwuani posts image with William Osula
Tochi Chukwuani took to Instagram to post an image with Osula wearing a Rangers kit.
This led to speculation mounting, with fans commenting on the post to hint at a potential move to Ibrox.
However, it turns out that the duo are good friends, and Chukwuani asked him to put it on as a joke.
The Gers midfielder has another account where he posts pictures of his life and reshared it on his official account in the form of a story.
While the Ibrox faithful would be interested in the Danish forward moving to Gers, Rangers News understands that is not the case.

How Chukwuani is proving to be worth the outlay at Rangers
Chukwuani moved to Ibrox for a £4m fee from Sturm Graz in January and appears to have hit the ground running in Scotland.
He has started all eight league games since moving and has become among the first names on the team sheet for Danny Rohl.
The 22-year-old has been an immense physical presence in the middle of the park for the Ibrox outfit.

While he has primarily been deployed as a defensive midfielder to shield the backline, he has shown that he possesses the ability to carry the ball and play a box-to-box role as well.
Chukwuani is the sort of player Rohl could even look to anchor his team around, as his reliability and instant adaptability to Scottish football prove he has what it takes to be at the club for the long term.
Fans will be hoping that there aren’t any other clubs lurking in the summer, as they could offer big money and it would be something too good to turn down for Rangers.
