Fabian Hurzeler believes player availability and what it means on the training pitch has been key to their recent run, even though he has made relatively few line-up changes of late.
He will ask his players to test each other ahead of the next fixture, at Burnley on April 11.
Several Seagulls stars are on international duty at the moment and those who are not have been given time off.
Th international break is followed by FA Cup quarter-final weekend, in which Albion’s men are not involved.
Head coach Hurzeler said: “Players will have some days off, like we always do in the international break, and then we will play 11 against 11 to not make the break too long without having any real competition.”
Only 12 different players have started in the four recent wins but Hurzeler has said there are others pushing them and notably praised Georginio Rutter recently.
The Seagulls boss said: “It’s no coincidence that results come when availability is high.
“It’s proven that, when you have a high availability, the results or the percentage of getting results is definitely higher because you have competition in training, you have players fighting for their position, you have good energy.
“You have a lot of players who can make a change when they come on the pitch so I can I can choose from different options regarding the score, regarding the tactics.
“I'm very pleased with the availability, therefore big compliments to my medical department.”
