'I worry': Ex-Premier League striker predicts West Ham will suffer embarrassing relegation

Former Premier League striker Rob Earnshaw has made a fascinating prediction about West Ham’s ongoing relegation battle.

The Hammers are currently 18th in the table, one point from safety, so it is totally fair to think they will go down.

However, Earnshaw’s brutal predictions for West Ham’s seven remaining league games are difficult to understand.

Choose between club and country… 🤔

Rob Earnshaw predicts West Ham will suffer embarrassing relegation

Earnshaw‘s baffling assessment of the relegation battle began with him deciding which team had the easiest fixtures.

The ex-Nottingham Forest forward then picked West Ham, even though many consider Leeds to have the easiest run-in.

“The most favourable run-in, I would say, is probably West Ham,” Earnshaw said on Sky Sports. “The toughest is probably Forest.”

However, despite West Ham’s supposedly easy fixtures, Earnshaw predicted they would pick up only three more points.

Not only that, but he does not expect the Hammers to win any of their seven remaining games, with just three draws.

Is this the WORST prediction of the season? 😂

Rob Earnshaw predicts West Ham to get just 3 more points…

“They’ve got Wolves at home,” he explained. “That is the only one. If West Ham don’t win against Wolves, I think they’ll be done, and that’s what I think [will happen]. I think Wolves will get a draw.

“If it goes down to [the final day], I worry for West Ham.”

Earnshaw also believes that Tottenham will go winless from now until the end of the season, but will still avoid relegation.

Meanwhile, he tipped Forest, who have the “toughest” run-in, to earn more points than West Ham and Spurs combined (eight).

Needless to say, Earnshaw’s predictions are highly unlikely to come true, but you never know in football.
