“I’ve kind of been able to step back and let the manager take the lead in a lot of things and come in when I need to come in,” he said.
“The lads don’t hear my voice every day and I am very fortunate with Tarky, Jordan [Pickford], Gana [Idrissa Gueye] that are playing every minute of every game. They’re the leaders this season and I’m there to support them when they need it.”
A decision needs to be made on Coleman’s future on Merseyside; the defender’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
It is no secret that Moyes rates Coleman’s impact off the pitch very highly at Everton, which could open the door in the future as a coach.

Having played just 12 minutes of Premier League football this season, it is becoming more apparent that Coleman’s future may lie away from the playing side at Everton.
