Leeds United want to bring loanee back – Plan is for Daniel Farke to use him

Leeds United intend to have Largie Ramazani at Daniel Farke’s disposal next season.

The Belgium joined the Premier League side from UD Almería for close to €8m in August 2024.

At that time, Leeds United were in the Championship and the player managed seven goals and two assists from 31 matches in his debut season.

The Whites secured promotion to the top flight but Ramazani didn’t stay at Elland Road. Instead, the English club let him join Valencia on a season-long loan deal in August 2025.

He initially struggled and picked up an injury in October that kept him on the sidelines until December. Subsequently, the attacker waited until February to make his first La Liga start for Los Ches.

This happened after he scored the late winner against Espanyol in January. Since making his first start, Carlos Corberán has regularly utilised the Leeds United owned player.

He has five goals and two assists from 22 matches for the Spanish club and his statistics per game in La Liga are as follows.

Expected Goals: 4.83

Expected Assists: 1.52

Big chances created: 2

Key passes: 0.7

Shots on target: 0.7

Goal conversion: 17%

Earlier this month, Sport Witness relayed news that Ramazani is an attractive option for Valencia next season. On March 12th, he refused to discuss his future plans beyond this season.

Leeds United in control

Marca have a report on Valencia and the English club’s plans for Largie Ramazani’s future.

His performances so far have convinced Los Ches to retain him, but it won’t be easy as there’s no purchase option.

The lack of purchase clause ‘jeopardises’ the La Liga side’s chances of retaining the player.

Leeds United had earlier sidelined him and sanctioned a loan move but are now impressed with his performances for Valencia.

Therefore, their ‘primary objective’ is for him to be a key player for them in the Premier League next season. They are 15th in the table, four points above the relegation zone.

At the same time, a summer sale isn’t ruled out. Marca state Leeds United will consider selling him if there’s a good enough offer.

Valencia unlikely to retain Ramazani

There’s no mention as to what the Elland Road club deem to be a good offer. However, it is likely that Valencia won’t be able to match it. The Spanish club’s financial issues over the past decade have dragged them down from the level they should be at.

The other option is if Leeds United were to sanction another loan move to Valencia in the summer. That would be perfect for Los Ches but appears unlikely at this stage.

Largie Ramazani’s contract with the Whites lasts until 2028, and Transfermarkt value him at €8m. There’s been a €2m rise in that perceived value since his loan move to Mestalla.

At 25-years-of-age, there’s still plenty of time for Ramazani to make it in the Premier League with Leeds United.
