This seems to have convinced Max Allegri’s side, who are now aiming to make a formal offer for the 25-year-old. There is also interest from Inter Milan but all things point to Gila being a key target for the Rossoneri.
The player is keen to leave in the summer, with the decision already communicated to the Biancocelesti. Once Lazio execute a sale, Real Madrid will be due 50% of the fee that they earn as Gila had joined the Roman club from Los Blancos in 2022.

Mario Gila has been one of Serie A’s most reliable defenders since he joined. When many others at the club have left, he has constantly been an important player.
Under Maurizio Sarri, he has also filled in as a midfielder and that shows his versatility. He has also grown as a leader, which has helped him remain in and around the Spain national team.
Unai Emery has never had problems having players of that type in his side. Gila also boasts a very good ability on the ball, which will only be a bonus.
The only obstacle in a move is Milan, who are likely to be helped by his contract situation as it expires in 2027.
