Jacey Carrick is the eldest son of Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick, and he’s now claimed silverware for the under-16 side.
15-year-old midfielder Jacey Carrick is considered among the most promising talents in his age group, and he has the added benefit of his father being the club’s current head coach and a Manchester United legend.
United have already offered Jacey Carrick a scholarship deal, with his surname royalty within the club, which likely plays a part in his hype.
But he’s also a super talent, with the silverware backing this up.

Jacey Carrick claims U16 Premier League Shield crown for Manchester United
Jacey Carrick is a huge United fan, and his talent on the pitch gives him a good opportunity to go through the ranks to the first team.
He has won countless trophies through the lower age ranks, but now he’s claimed silverware with the under-16 side.
On Tuesday night, United’s under-16s won the Premier League Shield with a 2-0 win against Burnley in the final, thanks to goals from Silva Mexes and Jaume Camacho.

Also playing in the final win was Kai Rooney, back from under-18 duties to win the shield as Wayne Rooney watched on, reacting with a post to X.
Rooney captioned his post with a medal emoji and a heart, showing how proud he is of his oldest son.

What’s next for Jacey Carrick?
Kai Rooney is a regular for the under-18s this season, scoring goals and looking like next season could see him break out at the level permanently.
But for Jacey Carrick, the route through the ranks is slower, being just 15, he will likely only begin to emerge for the under-18s over the course of next season.
If Michael Carrick is permanently appointed head coach, chances are Jacey Carrick’s status will grow as he will be pushing to step up with Jim Thwaites in his final year for the under-18s, and so there will be midfield space.
By all accounts, Jacey Carrick plays much like his father, and it will be interesting to see how he can develop and grow under Darren Fletcher next season and beyond.
