Bram Geers was a vital part of Vincent Kompany’s backroom team during the Belgian’s time in charge at Turf Moor.
The 32-year-old since followed Kompany to Bayern Munich, but now serves as performance director at Belgian side Anderlecht.
But now, Geers has been added to Julian Nageslmann’s team as part of a coaching overhaul.
He’s expected to join the existing athletic department, working alongside established fitness coaches Nicklas Dietrich and Krunoslav Banovcic.
Geers will remain with Anderlecht but will work with Germany on a temporary basis, both during the March international break and at the World Cup.
