**West Ham are in a fierce relegation battle with our bitter rivals Spurs and Martin Allen feels the Hammers are most likely to come out on top.**
It was a weekend to forget for both clubs, with West Ham producing an uncharacteristically abject display in our loss to Aston Villa, however it is hoped it was a bad day that the side can bounce back from.
Spurs on the other hand were once again woeful, getting pushed aside by fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest, which has many in north London fearing they really are set for the drop to the Championship.
Despite their dreadful form, there are many that are just as worried in east London – however The West Ham Way’s very own Mad Dog Martin Allen feels that it really is Spurs that should be the club more concerned.
Speaking exclusively, Allen has shared his thoughts as the battle to remain in the Premier League intensifies as we soon enter the final 7 games of the season.
“I have had a lingering feeling for a long time now that this will go down to the final game, with us playing Leeds at home,” stated Mad Dog.
“I actually think its more likely that it could be us sending Leeds down that day – however… I will say Spurs are looking very very vulnerable now.
“If we are looking on form and performances, then I think its fair to suggest that it really is Spurs most likely to go down.
“They need to win at least 2 more games and I struggle to see them doing that!”
Allen will be in attendance and hosting our special guest Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock at the next Pre-Match Event, which is ahead of our FA Cup Quarter Final clash against Leeds on Sunday 5th April.
