Report shares Jack Grealish latest for Everton fans as positive noises emerge from the Hill…

Jack Grealish is looking increasingly likely to become an Everton player this summer.

The 30-year-old has made a significant impact at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this season while on loan from Manchester City, even off the pitch as the England international gets involved in community activities whilst recovering from his broken foot.

As Jack Grealish starts to become a fan favourite at Everton, a new story from iNews suggests all parties are ready to sit down and sort out a permanent deal for the Brummie on Merseyside.

What should Everton be willing to pay to bring back Grealish over the summer? 💰

David Moyes and Jack Grealish both want Everton agreement with Manchester City unlikely to push back

It is said that the Everton No.18 wants to stay at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and David Moyes is also keen for the Aston Villa academy graduate to join on a permanent basis.

The Friedkin Group are ready to make it happen, but having already contributed £10m to the loan deal this season, the report states that a valuation of £20m has been put on the attacking midfielder by Everton.

Nevertheless, Manchester City sound unlikely to do much haggling, as iNews add that Pep Guardiola feels Grealish has absolutely no future at the Etihad Stadium – and that is unlikely to change even if the Spaniard departs his role this summer.

Not only that, but the positive noises continue for Everton.

The report goes on to say that Everton ‘will be helped in talks’ with Manchester City due to the fact Grealish turns 31 in September, and will only have 12 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season, meaning there is little competition for his signature.

So, by all accounts, Everton seem to have a fantastic chance at signing Grealish – who heaped praise on Beto after the win over Chelsea – permanently this summer.

The only question mark that lingers is whether Manchester City will accept just £20m for a man they spent £100m to sign in July 2021 – although we presume an agreement can be found given the fact they risk losing him for nothing in 2027 if no deal is struck this summer, and have no plans to reintegrate him.
