Adam Wharton and Elliot Anderson have been continuously linked with Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window as midfield signings.
Manchester United have been linked with several midfielders ahead of a potential rebuild this summer in a bid to replace the outgoing Casemiro.
However, right now, United’s shortlist has three priority signings, and two of which are in the England senior squad during this international break.
Adam Wharton and Elliot Anderson are two of the finest midfield options available right now, with the former now speaking about the latter.

Adam Wharton on Elliot Anderson amid Manchester United links
Ever since last summer, Wharton and Anderson have been United targets, with the pair considered the best English midfielders ready to take the next step in their careers.
Now, both are on international duty together, vying for places in Thomas Tuchel’s squad. In an interview on the talkSPORT daily podcast, Wharton praised his England teammate.
“I mean, yeah, obviously, I want to play as much as I can and try to help the team.

“But at the same time, Jordan [Henderson] and Elliot [Anderson] are top players, playing well this season, so it’s not going to be easy. And like I said, football is a game of opinion, so I’m sure whoever the manager chooses is going to do a great job.”
Wharton hailing Anderson as a top player is no surprise, as there is likely a common respect between them as they fight to be in the squad heading to the USA this summer.
But they’ll also both be battling a current United ace.

Adam Wharton and Kobbie Mainoo are inseparable during England training
Wharton and Anderson are joined in training by Kobbie Mainoo this month, as Tuchel recalled the United midfielder after his resurgent form under Michael Carrick.
Mainoo has a huge chance of heading to the World Cup, as he continues to show his class since getting back into the United squad.
In a training clip shared by journalist Henry Winter, the England squad is being put through their paces, and Wharton is keeping company with the United contingent.
Wharton was in discussion with Mainoo as the pair were laughing, while Marcus Rashford was also alongside the two midfielders.
It could be that Mainoo is playing agent, trying to get in the ear of a player he would want to play with at United. But more realistically, it shows that the addition of Wharton would fit in nicely with United.
