Newcastle United youngster Antoñito Cordero has found himself the subject of some post transfer snipes following his move to St James Park last summer.
The snipes come from Málaga Hoy, who cover the Cádiz take today. They are less than impressed with the forward after his recent appearance against Málaga.

Antoñito Cordero joined Newcastle United on a free transfer in the summer, amid interest from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
He headed England with a growing reputation following his time at Málaga, where the 19-year-old had established himself as a key player and a firm fan favourite.
There was, therefore, plenty of annoyance about his move to Newcastle. The Spanish side felt aggrieved, in particular, at missing out on a fee while the player pocketed bigger wages from the Magpies.
As a result, there has been a general sense of pleasure while the forward has struggled since his exit. He was sent to Westerlo on loan last summer but returned in January to be sent to Cádiz.

The youngster is yet to really impress there, with no goals or assists in LaLiga2 so far. That’s including in the 3-0 defeat to Málaga last weekend. His performance in that game hardly inspired the Cádiz press according to Málaga Today.
They say that the 19-year-old has a ‘still has a way to turn things around’ as his current performances are forcing them to ‘tone down’ their narrative. Instead, they’re focusing on the objective facts.
And on that front, his influence on the team is ‘far from justifying the hype’ surrounding him. So far, the results are ‘unremarkable’ from the Newcastle United loanee. There’s no goals, no assists and no apparent leap in quality. As a result, the margin for patience is starting to narrow.
It seems the Newcastle youngster is failing to make a positive impression. Now the local press are sending snipes.
Málaga, interestingly, seem to be keeping quiet. Indeed the message from there ahead of the match was one of affection.
