Everton are keeping an eye out for free transfer opportunities this summer despite having money to spend, and Marco Senesi is high on the list.
Several outlets have already linked the Argentine to the Hill Dickinson Stadium – and iNews are the latest to say that Everton are interested in snapping the South American up.
However, Juventus and Roma also hope to sign Senesi – according to Corriere dello Sport – and the Italian media outlet bring bad news after adding that Aston Villa have already made a hefty offer.

Aston Villa already working hard to beat Everton to Marco Senesi
Corriere dello Sport say Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign the Bournemouth centre-back when his contract expires this summer too, but it sounds like Aston Villa are the fiercest competitor.
With no reports stating Everton have even started work on a deal for Senesi beyond initial talks, the Italian news outlet say Aston Villa have already made a ‘concrete’ move – offering the Argentina international a ‘significant’ salary along with large bonuses.
With the Villans currently sitting fourth and firmly in contention to qualify for the UEFA Champions League again this season as well, they would appear to be firm favourites to sign the 28-year-old on a free transfer ahead of Everton this summer.
The Bournemouth No.5 is not the only freebie Everton are looking at to bolster the centre of defence, however.
