Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé talked to the press during France’s training camp and denied the reports about the club erroneously evaluating his uninjured knee during the winter.
“The information that Real Madrid examined the wrong knee is not true. We’ve always had clear communication with Real Madrid. Maybe I have some indirect responsibility, because when you don’t communicate, rumors are generated, it’s part of the game,” he explained.
RMC first reported the situation, with Cadena COPE confirming it shortly after. Apparently, and according to the player, these reports were not true. The player did travel to Paris to get a second opinion on his injury and that actually helped his diagnosis, as he’s now available to play.
