The Athletic: ‘Invaluable’ Man Utd fan-favourite has a decision to make after being approached…

Casemiro has two suitors waiting to negotiate a potential move to the MLS when he leaves Manchester United in three months’ time.

According to The Athletic, both Inter Miami and LA Galaxy have established their interest in signing the Brazilian as a free agent this summer.

Major League Soccer sides Inter Miami and LA Galaxy are interested in signing Casemiro when he leaves Manchester United in the summer.

Casemiro mulling over his options ahead of United release

Casemiro has yet to make a decision on where he’ll ply his trade next, and is instead putting all of his focus on seeing out a successful end to his four-year Red Devils tenure by helping the side qualify for the Champions League.

He’s certainly doing his bit, too. The midfielder’s seven Premier League goals this season are the most he’s ever returned in a single campaign, and there are still seven games left to play.

Back in October, Rio Ferdinand hailed Casemiro as ‘invaluable’ following his ‘outstanding’ display as United claimed their first win at Anfield in nine years.

Such efforts have only continued into the second half of the term and since Michael Carrick took the reins, making INEOS’ task of replacing the veteran look more daunting with each passing week.

Casemiro has nothing left to prove in Europe

Should he decide to pack his bags and head for the United States ahead of 2026/2027, it would spell the end of one of the most illustrious European careers any player could hope to achieve.

Casemiro would depart the continent with five Champions League titles to his name, three La Ligas and three Spanish Super Cups (amongst many more accolades) from his time with Real Madrid.

At Old Trafford, he helped earn the Reds their first piece of silverware after a six-year drought by scoring in the 2022/2023 Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United. The following season, he also added an FA Cup to his honours list.
