Thursday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo covers Manchester United, Manchester City and Aston Villa interest.
PL interest growing in Barcelona player
Manchester City had already looked at the 22-year-old in the past as Sport Witness earlier covered of their desire to bring him to the Etihad. That didn’t happen and Pep Guardiola’s side can make an attempt after this season.

A source close to the player insists he has ‘firm interest’ from England where Manchester United, the Citizens and Aston Villa are all keen.
In fact, these clubs made approaches to ask about the fullback’s situation.
Manchester United, Manchester City or Unai Emery’s side have made no formal offers yet.
Alejandro Balde has no intention of changing clubs and Barcelona also want to retain him. However, the Spanish giants could change their stance if there’s a ‘substantial offer’, provided the player is also open to a move.
For now, the fullback remains committed to the Catalan club and is holding off English interest.
Left-back situations at clubs keen
Michael Carrick now has Luke Shaw, Patrick Dorgu and Tyrell Malacia as the three left-backs at Old Trafford. The Dutchman will leave when his contract expires in June.
There’s been links with other options, including Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall. Balde would almost certainly be an easier target to get.
Rayan Aït-Nouri and Nico O’Reilly are the two left-backs at Manchester City, while Joško Gvardiol can also be deployed there.
Meanwhile, Lucas Digne and Ian Maatsen are the left-backs at Unai Emery’s disposal at Aston Villa.
Alejandro Balde’s contract at Barcelona is until 2028 and Transfermarkt value him €55m. He’s represented by Gestifute, who have experience of working with all three Premier League clubs.
