Manchester United insiders have revealed the feelings around Michael Carrick putting together a training camp in Dublin for the final part of his interim reign.
The Red Devils will now travel to the Republic of Ireland on 6th April and the Manchester United first-team squad will have a four-day training camp together.
According to Manchester United’s official website, Michael Carrick’s men will have the “opportunity” to spend time with one another after the March international break.
The Dublin-based training camp is a key part of United legend Carrick’s plans ahead of the end of his interim head coach reign at Old Trafford in the 2025-26 season.

Man Utd sources claim an ‘intense’ training camp is now planned for Michael Carrick’s men
Manchester United have an extended waiting period before returning to Premier League action due to the March break and being out of cup competitions.
The Red Devils will not return to Premier League action under Michael Carrick until 13th April, with Man Utd hosting rivals Leeds United at Old Trafford.

Carrick’s in-form side are currently third in the Premier League table and United were held to a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth ahead of the March break.
According to BBC Sport, Man Utd insiders have now claimed that an ‘intense period of training’ is planned for the Red Devils in the Republic of Ireland in April.
The news outlet added that the intensity that is desired from Red Devils first-team players is to ‘prepare them’ for the tail end of the Premier League season.

Fourth-place Aston Villa were able to close the distance on the third-place Red Devils after 10-man United’s encounter with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Unai Emery’s men are only one point behind United after Aston Villa sealed a 2-0 Premier League win over West Ham at Villa Park ahead of the March break.
However, United do have breathing room between themselves and fifth-place Liverpool and sixth-place Chelsea going into their final seven league matches.
Defending champions Liverpool are currently six points behind the Red Devils, while Chelsea are seven points behind United in the Premier League table.
Man Utd will face both Liverpool and Chelsea in their upcoming run of fixtures amid their push for a Champions League qualification spot for the 2026-27 campaign.
