Manchester United are considering Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly as a potential left-back target this summer, according to Sky Sports News reporter Danyal Khan.
The Old Trafford side are contemplating several options in their search for a new wide defender as they look to potentially replace Luke Shaw, who is approaching the final year of his contract.
United are also claimed to be looking at Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Nathaniel Brown as two other left-back candidates.
Lewis-Skelly only signed a five-year deal at Arsenal last summer but has made just one Premier League start this season, along with 13 appearances off the bench.

According to Khan, Lewis-Skelly’s future at Arsenal could become uncertain heading into the summer, with the Gunners needing to sell players to make additions to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Lewis-Skelly enjoyed a breakout 2024-25 campaign with Arsenal, making 42 appearances in all competitions and starring in the club’s Champions League quarter-final victory over Real Madrid.
Twelve months later, the ‘incredible’ 19-year-old finds himself largely limited to a rotational role under Arteta, having made just 12 starts in all competitions and registering four assists.
Amid his limited club involvement, Lewis-Skelly has also dropped out of the England picture and was not called up by Thomas Tuchel for a second consecutive camp during the March international break.
Along with Ethan Nwaneri, who is currently on loan at Marseille, the left-back has instead been called up to the England U21s and looks set to make his first appearances for the Young Lions this week.
