Everton are keeping tabs on Sheffield United midfielder Gustavo Hamer ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The Toffees are closely monitoring the Brazil-born Dutch national’s situation at the South Yorkshire club, according to Kuzey Ekspres.
On 25 March, the news outlet reported that the Blues are one of the teams interested in signing the 28-year-old, whose future at Bramall Lane is uncertain.
The Friedkin Group must back David Moyes in the summer, especially if the Merseyside outfit qualify for a European competition, and the Sky Bet Championship star seems to be one of the players on their radar.

Everton transfer interest in Gustavo Hamer makes sense
It’s been claimed that the Toffees are preparing an official offer for Hamer and bringing him back to the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest and Fulham are also being linked with the midfielder, with Sheffield United currently 17th in the Championship.
The Dutch star is familiar with the Premier League, having scored four goals and provided seven assists in the 2023-24 season.
In the current campaign, the versatile player has provided 10 assists in 30 league appearances.

The Blues could be without Idrissa Gueye soon, with the Senegal international’s contract expiring in June, and Moyes may need a replacement.
Hamer’s current deal at Bramall Lane will have just one year left at the end of the season, something the Merseyside outfit can potentially take advantage of to pull off a cut-price deal.
Where would Gustavo Hamer fit in at Hill Dickinson Stadium?
Everton wanted Hamer in the summer following Sheffield United’s failure to win promotion to the Premier League, but he ended up staying in South Yorkshire.
While the midfielder has primarily played on the left-wing under Chris Wilder this season, he’s capable of making an impact in several positions in the engine room.

The Brazilian-born playmaker’s versatility will arguably be something Moyes will relish at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the current squad in L4 lacking significant depth.
With Jack Grealish possibly returning to Manchester City at the end of the season, Hamer may be the one to take his place in the starting lineup or can provide cover and competition for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and other midfielders.
