Alex Iwobi to compete with Bruno Fernandes, Arsenal star, 4 others for Premier League honour

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been nominated for the English Premier League Player of the Month award for March, Soccernet.ng reports.

Iwobi has enjoyed a solid campaign for the Cottagers, but throughout March, he has taken his game to another level.

This month, he has started and played 90 minutes in all of Fulham's fixtures, contributing one goal across four Premier League appearances.

His brilliance has been key as the Cottagers claimed two wins and one draw from their four Premier League matches in March.

As a result of his performances, he has earned a place among the nominees for the prestigious Player of the Month award. However, he faces stiff competition in the race.

The Super Eagles star is up against Manchester United talisman Bruno Fernandes, Arsenal's David Raya, Everton's James Garner, Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, Newcastle's Anthony Gordon, and Brighton striker Danny Welbeck.
