Jordan Pickford is up for Save of the Month – and the Premier League have made an interesting choice.
Jordan Pickford has been in fine fettle for Everton this season, and the Toffees are now knocking on the door of European football.
He’s made significant contributions to the club’s current position, and is third in the race for the Golden Glove at the moment.
Should Jordan Pickford now be considered one of the world’s best goalkeepers? 🤔
Gary Lineker is adamant he should 👀

Pickford scooped the Premier League Save of the Month award for February, after his unbelievable moment against Newcastle United.
The England number one denied Sandro Tonali’s ferocious volley at St. James’ Park, and that could well win him Save of the Season.
Pickford has also just been nominated for the March award by the Premier League – but some will question their choice.

Pickford has made so many amazing saves this season he’s almost making up the competition himself at this point.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
His highlight reel for the 2025/26 season is going to look absolutely amazing when all is said and done.
Pickford is now in the running to win back-to-back Save of the Month awards, with Pickford’s save against Burnley being chosen as an option for fans to vote for.
This came at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in injury-time, when Pickford denied Lyle Foster from close range.
It was a great save, with Pickford showing quick reactions to keep the ball out from Foster’s flick, and preserve the clean sheet.
But potentially, the Premier League may have forgotten about the save Pickford made against Chelsea, which was arguably even better.
A Pedro Neto corner was palmed out by Pickford, with the ball falling to Enzo Fernandez. Fernandez lashed the ball goalwards, but Pickford somehow got back into position to keep it out.
Even Chelsea branded that save ‘world-class’ on their own website after the game.
And former Everton striker and Premier League legend Wayne Rooney described that Pickford save as ‘incredible’.
So while it’s great that the Burnley save was acknowledged, surely that one against Chelsea should have been chosen either instead, or as well as.
Ultimately though, a lot of people are now coming to realise just what an amazing goalkeeper Pickford is, and that’s all that really matters.
