Opinion: The Friedkins can end Iliman Ndiaye speculation by green lighting Everton plan

Iliman Ndiaye’s future at Everton is once again being speculated, but The Friedkin Group’s plan has already been shared.

Everton are no longer in a position where they will feel the pressure to sell their top players simply to balance the books.

This is now a club that is looking upwards under The Friedkin Group, with European qualification very much on their radar for the remaining seven games.

How much would it take for Everton to accept a bid for Iliman Ndiaye? 💷

MORE EVERTON STORIES

Ndiaye has admitted he’s happy at Everton and is wanting to push on and win trophies at the club.

However, speculation could be halted ahead of the summer window by the Friedkins.

Everton open to offering Iliman Ndiaye a new deal

Back in October, Everton News shared that Ndiaye’s contract was on Everton’s radar as he continued to impress on Merseyside.

At the time, there was an understanding that, given there was no rush, the Toffees could look to open talks over the next 12 months.

However, this may have now changed as Everton are seeing speculation over the winger’s future beginning to heat up ahead of the summer transfer window.

There would be no better way to end the transfer worry than for Ndiaye to sign a new deal.

Everton are already set to reject Man United’s Ndiaye interest in the same fashion they did regarding Jarrad Branthwaite.

The Toffees are in a much more positive position than recent years gone by, with a better product on the pitch and a much better financial position.

Ndiaye is fully deserving of a new deal, having scored 12 goals for Moyes, and handing him a new deal would be a reward for his hard work.

It would also put to bed any speculation of a potential exit this summer.
