Seamus Coleman showed on Thursday evening for the Republic of Ireland that he could still have plenty to offer Everton.
Following the game in Prague, Coleman refused to comment on international retirement, having seen his side’s World Cup hopes crushed.
At the age of 37, Coleman’s game time for Everton has quickly dwindled this season, with just 12 minutes to his name in the Premier League.
However, Thursday night saw the Irishman play an impressive 95 minutes of football against the Czech Republic, which may well have shown just what he could still offer the Blues.

Seamus Coleman could still offer Everton plenty after Ireland display
Having started the game at right-wing-back, the Irish media were really impressed with Coleman’s performance.
The 37-year-old has played 180 minutes for Everton this season, yet managed to produce more than half of that in one game for his nation.
It was an impressive display from the Everton hero, too.

Coleman was able to get forward and help out defensively, with the veteran defender not looking like a player who hasn’t played since November.
The question will now flip to how consistently Coleman would be able to offer Everton this level of performance in the Premier League.
Everton must decide Coleman’s future logically
There will naturally be a lot of sentiment involved when it comes to what is next for Coleman at the end of his current Everton contract.
Moyes has made it clear just how highly he values Coleman and what the defender brings to the club away from the pitch.
Everton are pushing on for European qualification this season, which highlights the progress being made on the field.
A number of Everton fans would like to see Coleman retire and join the coaching staff alongside Leighton Baines.
The Toffees are in desperate need of a new right-back who can offer an attacking outlet and Coleman, at his age, may not be able to provide that consistently.
However, his leadership qualities are something that the club value extremely highly at Finch Farm.
