Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be set to make his first England appearance in five years when the Three Lions take on Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay side this evening.

However, one Leeds United star has already shone whilst away on international duty, giving Daniel Farke a potential selection dilemma when he returns to West Yorkshire.
Dan James shines for Wales during agonising defeat
James, who earns around £94,000 per week according to Capology, has endured a frustrating campaign so far with Leeds, which has been hampered by injury.
Nevertheless, Wales boss Craig Bellamy still entrusted the winger to start during the semi-final of their World Cup qualifying clash against Bosnia, which they agonisingly lost on penalties.
Despite the defeat, James delivered an impressive performance and even scored a spectacular goal to give his side the lead initially.
Hopefully for Leeds, this goal gives the Welshman some much-needed confidence when he returns to Thorp Arch, with his performance potentially giving Farke a dilemma when it comes to handing James more minutes in the remainder of Leeds’ games this season.

Data suggests Dan James was impressive against Bosnia

Considering how poor James was during his last cameo appearance for Leeds against Brentford, it will be a welcome sight for United fans to see James back at his best.
Whether this performance for his nation was enough to persuade Farke to give him more gametime remains to be seen; however, it can only be a positive boost for Leeds that one of their players will return from international duty in fine form.
