The fixture at Elland Road was initially scheduled to take place at 3pm on Saturday, May 2.
But after being selected for live coverage on Sky Sports, the game has been brought forward a day to Friday, May 1, with the clash kicking off at the later time of 8pm.
For Burnley, the game comes just five days after their home clash against Manchester City, which has also been moved to Sunday, April 26 for TV coverage (2pm kick off).
Off the back of it, meanwhile, Scott Parker’s side host Aston Villa on Saturday, May 9.

The trip to Leeds is their penultimate away day of the season, coming before their game at champions elect Arsenal on Sunday, May 17.

Burnley now face a daunting challenge taking on Daniel Farke’s side under the lights, given their imperious record in night games at Elland Road.
The Whites haven’t lost in 22 night home games under Farke, winning 19 of them.
Leeds, who pipped Burnley to the Championship title last season on goal difference, currently sit 15th, four points clear of the dropzone.
The meeting between the two sides is likely to be crucial for both, unless Burnley’s relegation is already confirmed by that point.
