Robbie Fowler has waxed lyrical about former Everton midfielder Tony Grant.
Everton News columnist Alan Myers has also praised Grant as the pair continue to work together to this day.
Grant played 79 times for Everton over his career and was able to get his hands on the Community Shield in the 1995/96 season.

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes Grant is a player who was considerably better than anyone else he played with at youth level.

Robbie Fowler shares just how good former Everton midfielder Tony Grant was
Grant scored three times for Everton and provided six assists during his time on Merseyside for the Toffees.
Having made it through the ranks at Everton, Fowler shared his praise for the local lad in response to Myers’ post about the 51-year-old on LinkedIn.

“Just to add in something more about the football. I’ve grown up with him playing through various teams, including the schoolboy teams,” said Fowler.
“He was genuinely head and shoulders above everyone, what a player, but even better than that, and you nailed it, what a man.”
Grant departed Everton in 2000 for Manchester City before moving on to Burnley, where he made 164 appearances.
Fowler has also praised Everton’s Jack Grealish over recent months following his loan arrival from his former club.
However, Grant is someone who Fowler knows extremely well and witnessed first hand just how good a player he was.
