Former Burnley boss Sean Dyche has been identified as a potential candidate to help keep Tottenham in the Premier League, according to reports.

It leaves Spurs hanging perilously close to the dropzone, sitting in 17th, just a point above West Ham.
Tottenham haven’t won a single league game in 2026 and are the only top flight side to have a worse home record than Burnley this season.
As a result, The Telegraph are now reporting the club’s hierarchy could be set to turn to Dyche in a last-ditch attempt to stave off relegation.

Former Brighton boss Roberto Di Zerbi is thought to be Spurs’ first choice for the position, but it’s understood he’s only interested in taking over during the summer if the club stay up.

It’s claimed, however, that Dyche is also reluctant to take on the position on an interim role.
The 54-year-old has been out of work for the past month after being axed by Nottingham Forest after just 116 days.
Dyche had 22 league games in charge at the City Ground, picking up 18 points. He also guided Forest into Europa League play-off round.
When he took over, Forest were two points adrift of safety, and he left them three points clear. But a run of three games without a win, culminating in a 0-0 draw with bottom side Wolves, prompted Evangelos Marinakis to act.
